Year 12 Higher Education, UCAS and Apprenticeship evening

It is well recognised that students find the transition into Year 13 a challenging yet rewarding experience, as not only do the students have to focus on their studies, they are also making huge decisions about their next steps.  This may be university, apprenticeship or employment.

In order to best prepare students and parents/carers, we invited all parents and carers of Year 12 students to a Sixth Form Information Evening which took place on Thursday 26th May 2022 5.30pm to 7.00pm at Chipping Sodbury School Drama Hall.

Speakers from University of the West of England, Bristol University and National Apprenticeship Service advised on the UCAS application process, how to finance your child through higher education and information on applying for apprenticeships post year 13.  As well as this, a former Cotswold Edge student who has graduated from Cambridge University shared her experiences of studying at Cambridge.
